We have a unique approach to wellness. Our courses not only aim to boost skill and creativity through photography, but to also focus on the aspects of wellness: the joy of venturing into nature and focusing on beauty which can help us become more present in the moment.
Over 6 weeks of weekly sessions, join us online discovering how to see nature in many artistic ways which are often outside of the traditional wildlife image. Whether you find the beauty of a houseplant in your home or venture into the woods to find wildlife, we aim to help you utilise your traditional camera or mobile phone camera to capture the beauty around you and help you find peace in the moment.
Through the lens of photography, I found solace amidst chaos. It puts me in the present moment, free of yesterday's burdens or tomorrow's worries. Photography allows me to see the world in a different light, finding beauty in shadows and the simplest of moments. It gave me structure, a reason to get up, and most importantly, it brought joy back into my life.

Yes, definitely! Many of our participants use their smartphone cameras to capture images throughout the course. We provide tips, tricks, and techniques perfectly suited to mobile photography, ensuring that you can make the most out of your device and capture beautiful moments in nature. If you us a dslr or mirrorless camera, that's ok too. The exploration is much more to do with themes and expression then the highly technical aspects of photography.
We have a maximum of 10 people sign up for the sessions. The tutor will put people at ease and sets the scene for a very supportive, non competitive environment from the start. We encourage participation from the group and this is encouraged particularly through the chat function.
