Welcome. Some of the photography groups here are established and were set up long before the pandemic where we met in person. What connected us then as now was the pure love of photography. Other groups are just starting up, many as a means of connection through the act of photographing.
In 'The daily digital practice as a form of self-care: Using photography for everyday wellbeing', authors Liz Brewster and Andrew M Cox argue that taking photographs daily enhances a sense of wellbeing.
A LITTLE ABOUT JOINING A GROUP
The group is limited to 10 places. The aim is to explore new ideas for projects each month. The emphasis is around the ideas and aesthetics although there is some technical sharing and input by Vanessa.
It is friendly non-competitive space for us to meet for the love of photography.
What you will need:
Access to Zoom on any device.
Most people in the group are using a camera rather than a phone and want to improve their photography but you are welcome to join if you are a phone photographer!
